The MycoCamp Grant for High School Students

Application Process

PURPOSE: The Oregon Mycological Society is offering grants for high school students.  We have two 3-day camps each year; a spring camp is held at Suttle Lake (near Sisters, OR), usually in early May and a fall camp is held at Camp Magruder (in Rockaway Beach, OR), usually in mid-October.  There we have workshops, forays, and other opportunities to study mycology.  Please check the OMS Calendar on the OMS website for exact dates and locations.

The grants will cover two people; the student and a chaperone.  Housing, food, and camp activities are included.  You will be responsible for transporting yourselves to the camp.

SUBMISSIONS: All Applications should be submitted online. The deadlines for submission are as follows:

• Spring camp – March 30
• Fall camp – September 15
