Join us for a weekend of fungi fun. Daniel Winkler is our camp mycologist, providing interesting mycological presentations on Friday and Saturday evening. On Saturday morning, we break off into smaller groups to explore the area for fungi, venturing to several prime locations that have been carefully chosen and recently scouted. Specimens gathered are then displayed for everyone to see, and experienced mycophiles assist in identification. Between scheduled events, you’ll enjoy spending time with a group of like-minded mycology enthusiasts. Additional opportunities including cooking and dyeing demonstrations are also available. We conclude each camp with a review of the most noteworthy specimens.
