OMS Meetings: May
8: (A
non-OMS Event) The
Cascade Mycological Society welcomes all to our last presentation meeting
of the year. The presentation will be "Fungi in the Forest:
from
below ground to alpine"
by Dan Luoma and Joyce Eberhart. We will be learning about the ecology
of mushroom-forming fungi from these noted experts. The meeting starts
at 7:00 pm in room 115 of building 16 at Lane Community College. For

June 1-6: (A non-OMS Event) The Sierra Nevada Field Campus (SNFC) offers a week long class/foray on the Fungi of the northern Sierra Nevada with highly acclaimed mycologist Dennis Desjardin. SNFC, located north of Lake Tahoe is a part of San Francisco State University, providing environmental education to everyone in the general public through these 5 day immersion classes.
